And I really like what you wrote about how everyone is a little bit of a foreigner in some ways. Yes!

Living in the US for a longer period of time also helped me realize that you can have more than just one home. It’s a bit disorienting at first but also wonderful, in some way.

I hope that people who are not in our situations also read this article. After all, I think the lessons are applicable to everyone. It’s just much more noticeable when you’re literally a foreigner in another country.
