As for the difference between systemic racism and racism, I first want to say that I'm by no means an expert on this.
Basically, there's a difference between individual racism (where an individual has biases against another person due to their race) and racism that is deeply embedded into the very system we all live in.
So, for instance, someone using a racist slur against another person is an expression of individual racism.
Right now, in the United States, Covid-19 disproportionately kills African and Native Americans. That indicates a more structural or systemic discrimination/racism.
